Overview of 2011 New Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Hero Honda launched in Indian Market in 2009 and it has been very well received by the Indian customers. Karizma ZMR is sold along with old Karizma model. They don't want to end the competition with Apache 180 & Pulsar 220. The stance of Karizma ZMR remains the same as the old Karizma which is still considered to be the best touring bike in India with smooth, refined and relaxed Honda engine at the helm. The major change in Karizma ZMR was the addition of programmed fuel injection in the engine and little increase in power and torque.

Design & Style Of 2011 New Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
In terms of looks the most visible change in ZMR in comparison to the Karizma R is heavy looking full front fairing with a lot of snazzy graphics with 'ZMR' stickers.It gives Karizma ZMR a plasticky look. As far as new features are concerned the New Karizma ZMR gets all new headlamps with integrated blinkers and new tail lamps which are now LED ones. The 2011 model of Karizma ZMR features body colored rear view mirrors, new design for silencer and heat shield, body colored split grab rail, blue back-lit instrument cluster, ZMR logo on the instrument cluster and all-new 'Vibrant Orange' shade.
The rear view mirrors have been mounted on the front fairing a.k.a Yamaha R15, which is the best part of the face lift and it gives Karizma ZMR a very aggressive look if viewed from front.
However, the main problem is if you view the bike from side - the front doesn't gel with the slim looking rear. Hero Honda should have made the rear end a bit heavy to match it with the heavy front fairing. All in all, New Karizma ZMR looks much better than the outgoing model which started looking very outdated in comparison to the Yamaha R15, Bajaj Pulsar 220, TVS Apache RTR 180 & Honda CBF Stunner Fi.
Instrument Cluster
The Instrument cluster is best looking part in Karizma ZMR. Insert the key and you are greeted with a long scrolling message which ends with "Bon Voyage Fly Safe". The display is full digital including the tachometer which has been designed in round shape under a horizontal digital display which looks very cool especially at night. The 2011 model of Hero Honda Karizma ZMR features blue back-lit instrument cluster. It also features new ZMR logo on the instrument cluster.
The display also shows real time fuel consumption which is very helpful in maintaining good mileage. Other tell n tales include the speedometer, trip meter, fuel indicator, clock and rev counter. The switchgear remains the same and, in true Hero Honda fashion, there is no engine kill switch. The instrument cluster features dual colour illumination - the tachometer is lit in white while the rest gets an orange backlight

6 months bike not delivered

have booked Hero honda karizma ZMR by making an advance of Rs. 39000. in Gem
motors coimbatore delear. I have booked 6 months bake. I want answer weather i
get this bike or not....
2.Engine
over heat
I
bought a hero honda karizma zmr 2 months back.the main problem i am facing is
engine over heat.heat is spreading over the engine cover, petrol tank and sides
of the seat.its becoming hot within 1 - 2 km ride itself.first service is
over.completed 1924 kms now.i have given complaint

facing starting from 2-3 weeks...bike creates some sound and bike is not
starting i m puch my bike to start it...
4 times i show in service center but they don't getting the problems..

4.Poblems
I purchased a Black Karizma ZMR on 03-02-2010 from Oswal Motors PVT. LTD (A-20, G.T Karnal Road New Delhi-110033), from the very next day while driving i saw the neutral light being switched on in 2nd and 5th gears respectively.I complained this thrice in 2 consecutive services from B.K Motors(A-81, G.T Karnal Road Azadpur New Delhi) as well as i went their after the last service, they said that they have already fixed the problem,but the fact is, the problem still persists.And they have also tampered the right side upper fibre of my bike and they are not admitting that they had done so. I gave my clean and not touched bike to them , so its their responsibility to take care of it and any mishaps which takes place under their surveillance is their mistake not mine.And Now the fuel tank is getting heated up very early even in driving 5 kms only.
In my view the biggest mistake of my life was buying a hero Honda bike.
In future I would rather go for a Honda scooter but not a hero Honda bike.
